Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Paola Andrea Baron Otero, and this blog compiles my learning experiences throughout my English learning process. Through various activities such as videos, audios, conversations, and texts, I have been practicing and improving my English skills.

Depending on the topic studied in the first level, choose a family member or friend to introduce through a short video. Activate your webcam in English to verbally identify their personal characteristics, such as age, nationality, place of residence, hobbies, and relevant information about their daily activities. To create the webcam video, consider developing a script or outline using a tool like PowerPoint, Emaze, or Prezi, with several slides containing images and text to introduce the character. Using the data, concepts, and research obtained from your training program, you should create a brochure in English with your program's information and features. To create the brochure, you can use a digital tool such as Canva, Crello, Word, PowerPoint, or any other tool that allows you to work creatively.


Structure: Student's personal information, initial message, basic information about the program, expectations and interests related to their particular interest in studying the program. Describe the brochure simply and clearly using phrases, vocabulary, and images related to the topics of interest and the characteristics of your program.

With the support of a partner and once I had acquired the second-level study materials, I created a video in which I presented a job interview, applying for a position related to my professional profile. After the interview, I switched roles with my partner to become the interviewer.

Select an iconic figure with a distinguished career worldwide, based on their professional profile (for example, Juan Valdez) and search for this information online. Based on the selected figure, write a written account about Excellence: The Coffee Region, characterized by its from which the traditional clothing that characterizes Juan Valdez is derived.

Based on the topic studied in Level 3, create a video presentation in English about a tourist spot in your region, using a short webcam video to verbally describe the location and the reasons for its popularity.

Create a mind map that links your PLE (Personal Learning Environment) with your foreign language learning strategies and their application in your immediate work environment.
